We are thrilled to celebrate our partnership with 16 school districts that have been recognized as top performers by the Washington State Superintendent's Award for Educational Excellence. These exceptional districts represent the best in educational achievement and progress, and their recognition reflects dedicated work by educators, students, families, and community members.

The State Superintendent's Award for Educational Excellence, created in 2026 after the federal government ended the longstanding Blue Ribbon Schools Program, honors the top-performing school districts across Washington State. The award recognizes excellence across two distinct categories: districts demonstrating outstanding academic achievement and districts showing significant academic progress and improvement over time. Being selected places these districts in the top tier of Washington's nearly 300 school districts, serving more than a million students statewide.

*Steilacoom Historical School District received recognition in both the Academic Achievement and Academic Progress categories, reflecting outstanding performance across multiple measures and sustained improvement over time.
