The families of Principal Tamra Jackson's students have more reasons than most not to get involved - language barriers, prohibitive work schedules and economic disincentives. But through two decades of diligence and creativity, Jackson has managed to not only draw them in, but to take her high school from one of the worst-performing in the state to one of the very best with the help of those very families.
